Ok, we got carried away for just a second there! But what is a fact is that the port wine vintage 2011 , it's a case of successful sales around the world. With almost half of the total units sold, a total of 27 000 cases, the 2011 vintage is likely to be the most wanted item this Christmas, as the company admits to have just a few units left to sell . The peak in this win demand normally occurs in the few days before Christmas time, there's a risk of being without the typical gift that always makes you look cool.
The usual second phase of selling these wines usually saved up for the first months of the year may not happen this time! Therefore , the motto is "grab a bottle of vintage or so goodbye until the next " .
The producers of this wine celebrate this success but without allowing themselves to be carried away as the port wine sector is still in crisis, with increasing downfall of the sales.
